
Explanation of Classes Offered
Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) Handgun Qualification License training, a four-hour class which includes instruction on Maryland State firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, and an individual instruction on the range, shooting a handgun.
Maryland CCW Permit (Concealed Carry) CCW Permit training, 16 hours of instruction for an original application and 8 hours of instruction for a renewal application, to qualify for a Maryland Handgun Carry Permit.

One on One Instruction One on One instruction is customized instruction that focuses on improving the student’s knowledge, skill and performance in any area of pistol shooting and use, as well as private instruction for the Maryland HQL and Handgun Permit certification.

Beginner Pistol Shooting Course Students learn the basics of handgun shooting, safe handling of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, and the basic requirements to safely own and shoot a handgun. Each student will receive one on one instruction with semi-automatic pistols and revolvers in a live fire training exercise on the range.

Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Students learn more in depth information on the use of force continuum force their personal protection plan out in public and in the home. This class is heavily based in conflict avoidance methods.
