Terry Claiborne here, unlike others, my experience and expertise in firearms is unrelated to my military service and have no law enforcement experience other than having them as students.  I have spent decades in the defense industry as a problem solver and action plan specialist.  That’s right, I’m just like you in that sense as an everyday person.   My curiosity in firearms came connected to a loved one being murdered by a violent predator using a firearm. I lost another in what I only know to have been a shooting accident.  I had a healthy respect for firearms, yet a burning desire to know more, which prompted me to take formal lessons and found that I had the knack for shooting.  I quickly became a sharpshooter then reached expert level. 

After hearing countless stories about predators taking advantage of the weak and innocent, I decided to become an instructor and pass on what I’ve learned to other, every day, law abiding citizens like myself…YOU!  Since 2019 I’ve taught law enforcement, prior military, medical professionals, business owners, and people just like you learn to shoot proficiently, accurately, and feel empowered to protect themselves, their families, and other innocent people.  I also understand that firearms aren’t for everyone, and therefore, teach other means of self-defense and situational awareness in order to avoid the predators altogether.  When that’s not possible, you’ll know how to defend yourself by “Anymeans”
